Finding Topics for your Website
Over the years, I have setup a number of websites. Once I setup a site for someone the first question I usually get is “I don’t know what to write about”. There is a site that looks like it would be useful. Check out Answer the Public.
This site aggregates bing and google search history to tell someone what people are asking about a particular topic. For instance, look at a search for ‘Apple Pages’.
These are the “long tail” questions people are asking in Bing and Google about Apple Pages. This gives a site creator an idea of what people are looking for so they can taylor their site to give them what they want. The more of these questions you cover in your site, the better chance you will get the hits.
This can be very helpful in giving someone ideas for what to write about and post on your website.
Customer Service
Finding good customer support is a daunting task. Just because phone support is free does not provide real service. Figuring out the problems and describing the issue in real world terms is something that I excel at. In this video, I describe my philosophy on supporting customers.

I can remember the trials of burning files to CD. I even remember 360K floppy drives. That takes you back. Then floppies got bigger to 720k and 1.44mb. We moved to 100mb zip drives and then 250mb. Not to forget the orb drive too. But today, file storage is as easy as a flash drive. Easy and inexpensive. Sure, the future is storage in the cloud unless you get somewhere with poor internet speed or god forbid no internet at all.
When I saw this add, and checked Amazon’s price for these, it has become clear that faster is definitely better when the price remains low. Sure, not everyone has a USB3 port but they soon will. SO maybe its time to update that flash drive you carry to a USB3 one and perhaps even a larger one.
